Dr. Glenys A. Babcock

For more than 20 years, Dr. Babcock has provided research and analysis to preeminent public, private and not-for-profit organisations. She is a specialist in research design and methdology with policy expertise in:

• Conflict resolution and prevention
• Peace-stabilization
• Democratization
• DR Congo
• Sri Lanka
• Liberia

Glenys has served as a Consultant to many organizations, including the World Bank, Intelligence Secretariat of Canada's Privy Council Office, and the RAND Corporation (Los Angeles, Moscow, Washington DC). She was formerly:

• Vice President, Ipsos Reid Public Affairs
• Director, Titan Group for Public Policy Analysis
• Scholar in Residence, Canadian Institute of International Affairs
• Research Fellow, RAND/UCLA Centre for Soviet Studies

Glenys founded Pragmora in recognition of the need for a peace organisation that advocates realistic measures for resolving and preventing conflicts. She is committed to building Pragmora to be pragmatic, effective and global.

Glenys holds a PhD and MPhil in public policy analysis (specializing in Russian Affairs), an MA and BA in international relations, and a BA in mathematics. She currently resides in Canada, and has previously lived in the United States, UK, and Russia.
