PPAT REGULATIONS AND GUIDELINES

Use of Name and Logo

A registered PPAT may use the Pragmora name and/or logo in its communications as long as doing so does not mis-represent or harm the organisation. The official Pragmora logos may not be altered in any way.

Activities of a Pragmora Peace Action Team

Every Pragmora Peace Action Team must pursue the established four PPAT goals.

Use of Name and Logo

A registered Pragmora Peace Action Team may use the Pragmora name and/or logo in its communications as long as doing so does not misrepresent or harm the organisation. Official Pragmora logos may not be altered in any way.

External Communications

From time to time, a registered Pragmora Peace Action Team may hold a public event, conduct fundraising, or communicate with the media. In such external communications, a PPAT may not advocate any measures to resolve conflicts, prevent conflicts, or stabilise the peace post-conflict other than those specifically provided by Pragmora on its website.

Financial Regulations

Fundraising & Revenue. A registered Pragmora Peace Action Team may raise money through its own fundraising activities and/ or through direct donations. Upon receipt of an accumulated amount of $250 or more, the PPAT must notify Pragmora. Funds must be spent for the purpose for which they were solicited. Revenue and expenses must be fully itemised and accounted for.

Approval of Expenditures. The Executive Committee of the Pragmora peace Action Team must approve any and all expenditures from donated funds or monies raised for the group.

Bank Account. A registered Pragmora Peace Action Team may establish a bank account in its own name to facilitate the collection and tracking of monies. A bank account must be approved by the Executive Committee. If the group dissolves, the full sum of the remaining funds will be donated to Pragmora.

Annual Finance Report. Annually, no later than February 28, each registered Pragmora Peace Action Team must submit to Pragmora a statement of revenue and expenses for the preceding year, using the finance report form provided by Pragmora.

Dues. Each year in December, each registered Pragmora Peace Action Team must pay dues in the amount of $50.00 CAD to Pragmora to help support organisational administrative costs.

Values
